University of Brighton

A part of Brighton since 1859, the University of Brighton has been guided by its original ethos to become the diverse, multidisciplinary institution that it is today. The University is definited by a commitment to social relevance, which not only involves active engagement with a local and global community but includes a coordinated effort toward creating an equal and sustainable environment within the university.

Today, over 21,600 students from more than 150 countries study across five campuses in Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. Over 90 percent of the University’s courses offer the opportunity to gain practical work experience as part of their curriculum, and the University has been ranked in the UK's top five most sustainable universities for the last two years running.
